Description of Topsoil Screener:
Topsoil screener is a wheel-mounted, self-contained, portable screening plant designed to process topsoil, compost and green waste type products. It consists of a drum which is normally elevated at an angle at the feed end. Physical size separation is achieved as the feed material spirals down the rotating drum, where the undersized material smaller than the screen apertures passes through the screen, while the oversized material exits at the other end of the drum.
Topsoil trommel screener with a compact, unique construction that includes a foldable belt conveyors for easy trans-port and handling. With the option to equip diesel generator set, trommel screen can be part of a recycling line for mobile use.

A trommel screener is a great solution for topsoil screening, as well as waste screening, compost screening and the screening of moist/stickier applications. It is also better for removing fines from material, as the rotational function of the screen drum agitates the raw material better. The material feeds from the hopper into the trommel drum to be screened. Over size falls out of the drum whilst fines fall on a fines transport conveyor and get stockpiled.
